How SignallyRadio Works

SignallyRadio helps you discover live internet radio stations and podcasts from around the world. You can begin listening without creating an account, installing software, or downloading an app.

Search for a Station

Use the search box on the homepage to look for a station name, genre, country, city, language, or musical style. For example, you might search for jazz, Chicago, classical, Japanese pop, reggae, talk radio, or progressive rock.

Search results depend on the information supplied by each broadcaster and the public station directory. A broad search may produce more results, while a more specific search may help narrow the list.

Browse by Genre

Open the SignallyRadio menu to browse popular genres or view the complete genre collection. Genre pages help organize stations that identify themselves with similar musical styles, formats, or programming topics.

Since broadcasters choose their own descriptive information, a station may appear in more than one category, and programming may change throughout the day.

Choose a Station

Select a station card to load it into the listening area. SignallyRadio then connects your browser to the broadcaster’s original internet stream.

SignallyRadio does not host or rebroadcast the station’s audio. The station owner controls the stream, schedule, advertisements, programming, and availability.

Understand Now-Playing Information

Some broadcasters send the current song title and artist name as part of their stream. When compatible information is available, SignallyRadio displays it in the listening area.

SignallyRadio may also look for matching album artwork. Song information and artwork may occasionally be missing or incorrect because broadcasters use different metadata formats and naming practices.

Explore Popular and Highlighted Stations

The homepage includes popular station selections and a weekly highlighted station. These sections are designed to make discovery easier and introduce visitors to stations they might not otherwise search for.

The weekly highlight may feature a particular genre, region, broadcaster, or unusual listening experience.

Use Surprise Me

The Surprise Me option selects a station for you. It is useful when you want to hear something new without deciding on a genre or search term first.

Recently Played Stations

SignallyRadio may display stations you recently selected so that you can return to them more easily. Registered users may also have access to additional listening-history or favorite-station features.

Search for Podcasts

The Podcast section lets you search by title, creator, topic, genre, or location. When available, SignallyRadio displays podcast artwork, descriptions, episodes, publication dates, and audio players.

Podcast audio remains hosted by the original publisher or podcast provider. SignallyRadio acts as a discovery and listening interface.

Why a Station May Not Play

Internet radio stations are independently operated. A stream may fail because the station is temporarily offline, has changed its web address, restricts access in certain regions, uses an unsupported format, or has ended operations.

When a station does not play, try another station or return later. You may also report the problem through the Contact Us page.

Accounts and Sign-In

An account is not required for basic searching and listening. Creating an account may provide access to additional features such as saved preferences, listening history, or favorite stations.

Accounts require email verification to help protect the Service from abuse and unauthorized registrations.

Privacy and Analytics

SignallyRadio uses limited technical and usage information to operate the Service, diagnose playback problems, understand general traffic patterns, and improve features.

More details are available in the Privacy Policy, including information about cookies, advertising, approximate location, analytics, and third-party services.
